The Niagara of the Philippines

Who could ever imagine that from a little town in Surigao del Sur there hides a wonderful paradise and also known as the "Niagara Falls of the Philippines." The magnificent Tinuy-an Falls could be found in Burboanan, Bislig City, which is known as the Booming City by the Bay.

The falls stands at 95 meters wide and 55 meters high that is why it is also said to be as the widest waterfalls in the Philippines. Its water plunges for 55 meters the same as how high it is. The Tinuy-an Falls is best described as a ladder of wide waters falling in four levels which could make you stand in awe!

From Davao City, a fun and adventurous ride would take 5 to 6 hours to reach the majestic falls. The trip could be tiresome but it would eventually fade away upon seeing this wonderful paradise. The place is well-preserved by maintaining its cool, cozy and rain forest ambiance.
